Problem Statement/Background (GAP): The purpose of this research is undermined
by the substance of the population administration which is in the third order of public
reports related to the most public services at the national level and also the lack of child
identity card ownership in the City of Makassar. Anjungan Dukcapil Mandiri as the
latest innovation that has started to run is expected to be able to overcome the problem.
Purpose: Therefore, this study aims to find out the effectiveness of the use of Anjungan
Dukcapil Mandiri and to know the obstacles encountered as well as the efforts made to
overcome the obstacle to use Anjungan Dukcapil Mandiri in the issuance of Child
Identity Cards in the City of Makassar Province of South Sulawesi. Method: The
research methods used by the authors in this research are descriptive qualitative
methods of research. The data collection techniques are interviews, observations, and
documentation, while the data analysis techniques are done by means of data reduction,
data presentation, and conclusion drawings. Result: The results of this study show that
the use of the Anjungan Dukcapil Mandiri in the issuance of Child Identity Cards in
the City of Makassar Province of South Sulawesi is not running effectively.
Conclusion: Some of the obstacles faced are the lack of enthusiasm of the public in
applying for Child Identity Cards, the public's incomprehension in making child
identity card applications online and printing Child identity cards through Anjungan
Dukcapil Mandiri, still there are societies that do not have technology devices or
gadgets. The attempt is to socialize regularly every two months, put a digital and
physical application guidance pamphlet on the walls of the Civil Registration Office of
the City of Makassar and cooperate with a number of private companies by giving
discounts to children who have a Child Identity Card.
