Its strategic location and supportive environment for improving quality of life through employment and education have made Bandung a destination for both inward and outward migration. This migration is influenced by factors such as job availability, population density, and the perceived difference in lifestyle between rural areas and Bandung City, resulting in both positive and negative impacts. Purpose The objective of this The researcher employed a qualitative descriptive research method with an inductive approach. The theoretical framework used was Everett S. Lee's theory of migration, utilizing indicators to gain insights into population migration in Bandung City.. Result: The findings of this study indicate that migration in Bandung City is driven by several factors, including economic improvement opportunities, ample job opportunities, supportive public infrastructure, and a higher prevalence of male migrants compared to female migrants. The government can address this through socialization efforts emphasizing the importance of proper documentation for migrants, ensuring clear records for both permanent and temporary residents. Furthermore, improving public facilities and job availability aims to attract more migrants, thereby boosting Bandung City's economy. Conclusion: The migration of population in Bandung City is driven primarily by economic and educational factors, resulting in dense population and limited job opportunities. However, the positive impact is seen in the high quality of human resources working in Bandung City, which contributes to its economic growth.
